Zune 160 | Strong chance for 160GB Zune in Fall 2009

With all the news of the upcoming Widescreen Zune HD it's easy to forget about the classic hard drive based player. Microsoft has purchased hard drives from Toshiba in the past, in fact, the very first Zune was also assembled by Toshiba. Taking a close look at the available 1.8" drives available in summer of 2009 gives a strong indication of what the next Zune might have. Toshiba currently has 160GB, 240GB and 250GB drives. However, only the 160GB drive is as thin as the current Zune 120 model. This leads us to believe the Zune 160 will be released in September 2009 along with the Zune HD.
