Belkin Zune 120 / 80 Case Reviews
Belkin has a pair of Zune cases for the new Zune 120 (they also fit the Zune 80).
The leather sleeve design incorporates a clear plastic screen guard into the black leather design. Openings on the bottom allow the Zune to be charged while in the case.
Headphones and lock switch are accessible from the top.
The case is packaged for retail and can be found online or at the local store.
The back of the Belkin Zune case has a clip and velcro for the latch.
The Zunepad, back, and play buttons are all easily accessed though an opening in the front of the case.
Conclusion: The leather sleeve is a great balance of appearance and functionality. The lack of a flap that covers the front is actually a bonus. The Zune screen is always visible and always protected. This case is currently a favorite at Zune Scene headquarters, and is very highly recommended.
Belkin Zune Sport Case for 120 / 80
The Belkin Zune sport case is desinged for running or other athletic activities.
The Zune is inserted into a neoprene pouch through an opening in the top. The owner of this particular case let us borrow it for the review. She actually owns a Zune 30 and manages to cram it in, however it fits the 80 and 120 best.
Some cases ship with a nylon band, but the Belkin has a neoprene band. This material is superior to nylon because it's softer on the skin and more stretchy. Amber, the case owner, indicates that only during heavy exercise does sweat make the band wet. During light exercize it stays dry.
Conclusion: The Belkin Zune Sport case is top of the line for it's category. The Zune will not fall out during motion and stays well protected. All the buttons can be used through the clear front, even the touch sensitive pad. The sport case scores well with modern appearance and quality construction. It's a must have for runners.
