Zune 2.0 Factory Photo

After reporting the Zune 2.0 story we started searching for the Dao Min Zune factory next to the XBOX 360 factory reported in the leak. All the searches came up empty and there were some doubts as to the veracity of our insider source. Thanks to a tip given to the Zune-Online blog we recently discovered the correct spelling of Dao Min is Doumen. Our source pronounced it "Dao Min" and we spelled it as best we could. According to Google Earth the city is located about 53 miles southwest of Hong Kong China. A quick internet search with the keywords Doumen XBOX on Google also revealed this is the exact site of XBOX production since 2002. With further searching we even found the huge XBOX factory at the North end of the Flextronics Campus and to our amazement right next to it another factory, but this one appeared to be under construction. If only Google Earth was updated daily we'd have an excellent idea of when the Zune 2.0 starts shipping. The facility is smaller than the XBOX factory but still measures over 100,000 square feet and appears to have 2 levels. We can only imagine the goodies that will come from this building over the next decade.
