Zune on Mac

"Prince Alfie" from our very own zune Forum has made some steps towards running his beloved Zune on his beloved Mac. In what appears to be a Romeo and Juliet tech story, the Mac is able to recognize the Zune and even peer deep into the Zune file structure.

XNJB software has been used to run other players such as Creative and Dell on Macs and it now allows users to connect with the Zune device. So far tracks cannot be transferred to or from the Zune but progress so far is encouraging.

Zunes ship with firmware version 1.0 then immediately update to version 1.1 when the Zune software is installed and the device is connected via USB. The update caused the Zune to loose connectivity with the Mac via XNJB but after some further efforts it was regained.
